Size: a petite little thing, 40lbs at most

Profile: Little bitty Ellie was a part of a huge hoarding situation out in the Antelope Valley.  With over 400 dogs found in below freezing temperatures, she was so traumatized that she wouldn't walk and sat huddled in the dark.  To this day I have no idea how all of these dogs survived the weather.  I showed up in the dark of the night along with hundreds of other rescuers.  I was wearing long johns, two pairs of sock and Ugs and yet my feet got frost bitten to the point I could barely walk.  And yet this little dog had been standing in almost knee deep mud and frozen water for days.  Let her never feel the harsh ground.  Let the rest of her life only feel the fuzzy feel of a carpeted house, a comfy blanket and your warm heart.
