Profile: If you're looking for a 55 lb. lap dog, Doogie is your guy! What a story this dude has.  I got a call from animal control to come and look at this little cow patched guy.  He had been turned in by his owner due to a move.  But the real kicker was.......he was an old friend of ours from two years ago!  Apparently two years prior I had spotted this Petey lookalike at a shelter in South Los Angeles and went to rescue him.  But upon my arrival, he had been adopted out.  Well thanks to a shelter worker with a great memory, when he was given up at another shelter by his adopted family, she remembered that I had a fondness for him and called me "again".  Doogie is a very affectionate pooch.  He adores people, but is not too thrilled about other dogs.  He "behaves" around them but with training and socialization he'll be a great all around dog.  With looks like this, Hollywood may come a knockin'.  Don't be surprised if you see him on the big screen soon.
