Running a rescue facility incurs a great deal of time and money. There are many ways that you can help!

Villalobos Rescue Center gratefully accepts donations of pet supplies, office supplies, and any other items we can use at our facility. Donations of these items allow us to devote our limited resources to rescuing and caring for more animals.

Specific items we can always use are:

2 BIGGEST AREAS WE NEED HELP IN CURRENTLY ARE DONATIONS MADE DIRECTLY TO OUR VET (Click here for more info) and BLANKETS FOR THE COLD MONTHS AHEAD:(

Kennel/Animal Care Supplies

DOG FOOD - We are CURRENTLY OK on dog food! We have a generous sponsor. The only food we are in need of is Natural Balance (Duck & Potatoe), this food is used on some of our pit bulls that have food allergies.

POOP SCOOPS - Believe it or not, this is an item that we go thru more than any other. And because they're built so "delicately" we tend to break them quite often.

TRAINING/SLIP LEADS - We use these in the kennels daily. They can be purchased at: www.jjdog.com
They're called British Slip Leads and are 6' X 1/2" leads. We'll let you pick the colors :)

We also like to use Gentle Leaders. You can purchase these at any Pet Store. We use sizes Medium and Large.

BLANKETS/TOWELS - These are something we can use year round. If only our Kiss Bulls would realize that they're to keep them warm and cozy during those cold winter months, instead of using them as chew toys. A:)

LEASHES/COLLARS - We can use several types. Of course the standard flat collars (leather, nylon, etc) are always needed. For training purposes we like to use choker chains or martingale style from Premier.

TOYS/RAWHIDES/CHEWIES - You name it, we'll take it. If a Pit Bull can "maul" it, then they'll love it. Tug ropes, tennis balls, Kongs, knuckle bones (Trader Joe's has some great ones and they're cheap too), etc. We'll take them all but make sure that they're big enough so our "big" dogs don't choke on them.

OTHER ITEMS- Bleech, Laundry soap (only liquid please) and Fabric Softener. We are in desperate need of these items all year around to clean the blankets for the dogs.

Miscellaneous Items

Hip sacks/fanny packs for dog training

Plywood – We live in the high desert and the wind can get up to 75 mph. Plywood makes excellent wind blocks.

General Monetary Donations

Villalobos Rescue Center is a 501©(3) private, non-profit organization and all donations are 100% tax deductible. Your donations help us to continue to provide our dogs with food, shelter, medical care, spay/neuter, and other basis needs.

Sponsorship Program

We now have a program where you can make a big difference on a personal level. For just $25.00 a month, you can keep our doors open and enable us to help more dogs. You can choose a specific dog to sponsor from the list of dogs available for adoption on our website. For your monthly contribution, you will receive a color photo of your “pooch” and can visit our facility as often as you like and take him or her out for a hike in the hills. If dogs truly are Man’s Best Friend, then isn’t it time we start treating them like one? INTERESTED? CLICK HERE!

Memorials

If you would like to make a donation to Villalobos Rescue Center as a gift for someone else, as a memorial for a beloved pet who has passed away, or in honor of a special event such as a birthday or wedding. All such contributions will be gratefully acknowledged with a letter to both the donor and the honoree.

 Visits are by APPOINTMENT ONLY!!
Due to the increasing number of people showing up that have become obsessed fans, stalkers or that think we are a public zoo, we now have to take control of the situation. We are a sanctuary for these animals and the last thing they want or need is someone coming by just to "check them out". We DO NOT give tours or allow the public to walk around like the animal shelter. Visitations are for those adopting, boarding or training only. This is not only for liability reasons, but for the sake of the privacy of these animals that have already had a tough life.
Please respect that.
If you are interested in visiting, you MUST call and make an appointment.
For those of you, who think you're "special" and are planning on just "dropping by", we have a surprise waiting for you at the front gate.....
SURPRISE!
