Welcome to probably one of the most important programs for VRC. Our monthly sponsorship program allows you to virtually “adopt” one of our dogs and help support he/she through a monetary donation that can either be deducted automatically through Paypal or you can send a good ole fashioned check.
While most of our dogs are here awaiting a home, some are up for adoption but due to some behavioral issues, may take longer than usual to get a new home. This can be due to mental abuse, neglect or lack of socialization. In either case, our little four legged buddies need a virtual friend.
Then we have dogs that are sadly not adoptable due to severe medical conditions and in some cases, severe emotional distress and are not able to leave our facility. As much as we want all of our dogs to get a home of their home, it is simply and sadly, not possible.
For a monthly donation (you can pick the amount), on your initial introduction packet, you will receive a photo of your sponsored VRC pooch and also a signed post card from Tia Torres, thanking you for your support. It is the monthly sponsorship donations that keep the rescue a float. Without them, we could not keep our doors open and help the dogs that we all love so much.
Then on a monthly basis, you will receive a new photo of your sponsorship dog along with any updates via email. Your VRC sponsored pooch will also be sending you “Howliday” cards and messages to remind you of how grateful we all are for your help.
You will also receive a quarterly newsletter from all of our “sponsored dogs”, with photos and the latest “happenings” here at VRC.
Our sponsorship program can also make a great gift for those that can’t actually adopt a “real” pooch but instead can have a “virtual” companion. You can also send specific gifts for your sponsored dog. They love receiving their own presents!
