AIDEN (Chief)

This cutey first came to us about 3 years ago. Right away we knew something wasn’t “normal” and we thought maybe he had been hit by a car…and he might’ve. But what was determined by our vets is that he had a neurological condition called “cerebellar hypoplasia” that he possibly was born with or that it might’ve been caused by physical trauma. There are many reasons for this condition.

But it didn’t slow this little guy down and he made his way across the country to another rescue, who adopted him into an amazing home where he thrived and ran/wobbled throughout their 5-acre farm.

Unfortunately, (and recently) there was an incident with their cat and because it could not be definitively decided on what exactly happened, it was safest for the remaining cats in the home for Chief/Aiden to be re-homed.

Per our vets, his condition is mild and is not expected to get any worse.

Aiden (his VRC name) is a silly, goofy, puppy-like pooch who is amazing in the house, good with other dogs and every human he meets. To err on the side of caution, we are going to say “no cats or small dogs” for his new home.
