Ambria came to us in horrible condition. Her mouth had been duct-taped shut, and she was emaciated due to not being able to eat and drink for a long, long time. Even though she was abused, her resilience and continued love for humans prevailed. Why is it that no matter how rotten people treat these dogs, they forgive with no questions asked?
We nursed her back to health, and she let us know she was ready to shine. She LOVES to learn, and her focus is so impressive! She has been working on basic commands and knows “watch me,” “leave it,” “sit,” and “touch”! She is also super into doggie puzzles and makes them look easy. She is great in the car and dog-friendly! She would do best with an active person or family…she’s got things to do!
Ambria is now a part of our new foster program: 90 Dog Fiance. She is currently living in a foster home with several dogs so that we can get a better idea of whether or not her love of other dogs is genuine and honest. Well just look at the video of her playing with her foster brother, Casper. She is living the dream and would do great in a home with another dog who is as great as Casper.
Our foster program only keeps the dogs in their foster homes for 90 days. Today’s date is: Aug. 20th, 2024. Please help us find a forever home for Ambria before Nov. 20th so she doesn’t have to return to kennel life here at VRC.
