Carnations are a beautiful flower and actually my favorite. I just love the way they look and smell. So when her jerk of an owner drove up to the rescue with her in the back of a truck and wanting to “dump” her like she was yesterday’s trash…how could we turn her away?
Add to her owner’s nasty attitude, she was covered in demodex mange and of course…had heartworm. But as you can see, after spending months and months with us, she is now “blossomed” into a breathtaking animal.
But Carnation will take a breed experienced owner. She’s got some energy to burn off and she is not good with other dogs. Not too bad but she definitely cannot live with any other pooches.
So if you are looking for not only a sweet dog but one that will turn heads…Carnation is the “one to pick” 🙂
