Cash is one of our two remaining Hurricane Katrina dogs. The storm hit on Aug. 29th, 2005 yet Cash was not found and rescued until a month later. Somehow he had survived one of the country’s deadliest natural disasters but also managed to stay alive for 30 more days, living on toxic sewage water and eating rotten food.
How fair is it, that after being the hero that he is, that still no one has adopted him? Cash just needs a home of his own to retire to and to have him feel for the first time, the comfort of walking on a carpeted floor and sleep on a couch and falling asleep to the sound of the TV……I mean is that so much to ask for?
Because he is older, he needs to be in an adult home with no other animals. Sadly he has always been uncomfortable around kids and more than likely it is due to his past mistreatment. All he needs is a forever home, a backyard and you.
