Galena’s Journey 💜 From Forgotten to Fierce
A few years ago, Galena was heartbreakingly dumped outside our New Orleans location—barely able to walk, struggling to breathe, and fighting for her life. 💔 After rushing her to the vet, we learned she was battling pneumonia and advanced heartworms.
But Galena is a fighter. 💪 Despite the odds, she bravely made it through her heartworm treatment like the warrior she is. While the damage to her lungs left her with a chronic cough, she takes it all in stride—with the help of her daily meds and a whole lot of love.
These days, Galena is living her best life. She adores her people and will never say no to a good car ride with the windows down and her ears flapping in the breeze. 🚗🐾
She may have had a rough start, but her heart is pure gold. We’re so proud of our girl. 💖
