Khalia is a sweet girl rescued by Country Matt and Tania a couple years ago. It was a scorching hot Summer day in New Orleans. Tania was leaving to run some errands when she saw a dog running down the street. She called Matt to drive over and help her. Tania’s heart dropped as the dog ran up a very busy bridge. Not a single car slowed down. She finally made her way back down the bridge and into a neighborhood, where she collapsed under a van from heat exhaustion. They were able to crawl under the van and get her out. And she’s been with us ever since.
Khalia is such a sweet dog. She’s great on leash and she loves kids. She desperately wants to be a house dog and make her way into someone’s heart. Whoever ends up with Khalia will be a very lucky person.
