When Loup first came to us, he couldn’t move. We were told he’d been hit by a car just down the street from our location, so we rushed him to the vet, hearts racing and hoping for the best.

But as we worked closely with our vet, something about the story didn’t sit right. Eventually, after pressing for more answers, the truth came out—Loup hadn’t been hit by a car. He had been slowly losing mobility in his back legs, and the person who brought him in… was actually his owner.

What started as a heartbreaking deception turned into a new beginning.

Since then, Loup has made incredible strides. He’ll never have full use of his back legs again, but you’d never know it by his spirit. He’s happy. He’s goofy. He’s got a whole crew of dog buddies, and he absolutely adores people—especially kids.

Loup is ready to start the next chapter of his life, one that’s filled with love, understanding, and someone who knows how to care for a dog with special needs. He may not move like he used to, but his heart? It runs full speed.
