Mama Jinks: From Survivor to Spunky, Free-Spirited Mama
Mama Jinks’ story is one of survival, resilience, and finally—freedom.
She was one of 19 dogs crammed into just two wire crates, suffering in horrific conditions. The person responsible made it clear—either we took them, or he was throwing them all into the river.
As our staff stood there, fighting back tears, overwhelmed by the mass intake, the man handed them one last thing—a dirty dresser drawer. Inside, nestled together, were four tiny, newborn puppies, just days old, their eyes and ears still closed.
Then, as we pieced it all together, we realized the heartbreaking truth—Mama Jinks wasn’t just their mom. She was also the mother of the five older, five-month-old puppies in the group. She had been bred over and over, her body pushed to its limits, all while struggling to survive herself.
But today, Mama Jinks is finally free.
Her babies have all found homes, and this strong, spunky mama is ready for a life that’s all about her now—no more raising puppies, just love, play, and the peace she deserves.
Mama Jinks adores kids and can coexist with calm, respectful dogs who understand her need for space. After everything she’s been through, can you really blame her for wanting a little breathing room?
This single mama is ready for her happily ever after. Please share to help her find the forever home she’s waited so long for.
