This is a case of being in the right place at the right time. One of our employees had gone to Dollar General in New Orleans (in the Marigny area of the city). When he came out, this emaciated and severely injured cat walked up to him, “meowing” and begging for help. The most apparent thing about her was that her nose had been completely chewed or ripped off.
Our employee immediately called for another employee to come to the parking lot of the Dollar General and the entire time, this sweet angel continued to ask for help and never left his side. We named her “Marigny” after the area in New Orleans where she was found and she is currently going through a lot of medical. Yet despite all of this, she is the SWEETEST and wants you to pet her non-stop. For now she will be under our sponsorship program and hopefully in the future she can be adopted.
