Petunia survived an abuse case. Her owners were cited for animal abuse and neglect. She could barely walk and literally looked like a skeleton with skin draped over her. After a year of sitting in the shelter to await for her case to be over, she was given a chance to get a new home. But no one came. She had endured years of Hell from her former owner and lived the life of a true victim.  But because there are so many Pit Bulls in the shelters in Los Angeles County, she was just one of hundreds. And by no fault of her own, she has been with us now for years. Petunia is an absolute doll and so well behaved.  She needs to live the life of a princess on a soft bed never to know the feeling of a chain around her neck and the cold dirt beneath her feet.  Though she is somewhat "elderly" she has the spunk of a youngster and loves loves loves people.  But because of her still existing energy level, she will need a home with somewhat older kids as she can play "ruff".  Let Petunia show you what joy she can bring into your home.  Its all she longs for.
