Porch’s story began in heartbreak. I got a call about a man setting dogs on fire inside crates in his backyard. By the time we and the police arrived, one dog had already passed, but two were still alive-one tied to the porch. That’s how this resilient boy got his name.
Despite everything he’s been through, Porch is one of the sweetest souls you’ll ever meet. He radiates calm energy and loves every person he meets. His favorite hobbies include lounging in the sun, soaking up affection, and being your loyal shadow around the house. He’s great with kids, medical handling, and bath time and he’ll even join you on your weekly Tractor Supply run with confidence and pride.
Porch prefers a peaceful life where he can be the only dog and enjoy all the love to himself. He’s earned that right after everything he’s overcome.
Now he’s ready for his forever home, a cozy couch, gentle hands, and a family who will finally show him what safety and love really feel like
