Stell came in scared, unsure, and ready to defend herself when Mariah (M2) was called to rescue her out of an abandoned house in Assumption Parish. But once she realized she was safe, everything changed. This girl has completely blossomed into a confident, people-loving sweetheart who just wants to be close to her humans.
Stell is the total package when it comes to home life! She’s perfect in a crate, settles in nicely, and absolutely lives for belly rubs and cuddles. She forms strong bonds with her people and will happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give.
She can be selective with other dogs, so she would likely do best as the only dog in the home or with very slow, proper introductions. Because of her past and her need for understanding, a home with kids 10 and up would be the best fit for her.
One thing to know, Stell is not a fan of car rides (she’s more of a “homebody queen” anyway), so she’s looking for a family who’s happy to spend time with her close to home.
